The debut Homemade Weapons LP ‘Negative Space’ is still fresh in peoples playlists after a unanimously acclaimed release, and has gone on to be used as a benchmark for D&B LP’s that exist on the edges of the musics periphery. Combining function and form with equal emphasis, Negative Space is an LP full of tracks that DJ’s play in clubs as opposed to being largely relegated to online mixes. To follow on from the LP, we selected 3 Samurai artists to rebuild their favourite tracks from Negative Space and have combined this with a Tidal Track VIP from Homemade Weapons made initially for his DJ sets. Ancestral Voices, The Untouchables, and Sam KDC all turn in unique interpretations.
