It was initially due for release after the 1993 release of the UK Top 10 album hit “Lifeforms”, but that didn’t happen. Instead, much later in 2010, it came on CD and download. Only now is it being released on vinyl for the first time..

This release also comes after the success of the first two installments which have sold steadily across the different volumes over the years and still climbing. This third volume is a sparse, highly minimal, and vivid departure from their dense 1990s period, and cited as one of the standout ambient releases of its time with FSOL in fine creative form. Reviewers at the time noted he complete absence of the heavy, spacey atmospheres of Lifeforms or the dark chaos of Dead Cities with delicate textures and moody variety throughout. While mostly calm and meditative, certain cuts evoke a desolate, lonely, or gently industrial feel.

- 2026 Reissue.

TRACKLIST:
A1 Viewed From An Obscure Angle
A2 Summer's Dream
A3 Sunken Ships
A4 The Empty Land
A5 A Glitch In Cellular Memory
A6 Recollection
A7 Accompaniment For Melodious Expression
A8 Absolution
B1 End Of The World
B2 Sense Of Being
B3 The Oldest Lady
B4 A Diversionary Tactic
B5 The Silent Place
B6 Out Of Sync Child
B7 Hall Of Mirrors
B8 Surface Water
B9 Heart Sick Chord
B10 Repetition Is A Form Of Change

# Ambient # Experimental # Electronica
